Material Qualities

 

HCS:

Alloyed tool steel for cutting soft materials for e.g. wood, chipboard and plastics.

High Speed Steel (HSS):

Hardened High Speed Steel for cutting hard materials like metal, aluminum and non-ferrous metal.

Bi-Metal:

Flexible, laser welded joint of alloyed spring band steel on the back and high speed steel on the cutting edge.

Advantages:

  • Outstanding cutting performance
  • Long lifetime, 2-10 times higher
  • Flexible with high breaking strength
 

Tungsten Carbide Grit Edge:

Alloyed tool steel, gritted with tungsten carbide/hard metal on the cutting edge of the saw blade. For cutting abrasive materials and glas, ceramics, epoxy-glass, glass-fiber (GRP).

Tungsten Carbide Toothed:

Alloyed tool steel with tungsten carbide / hard metal teeth for the cutting of abrasive materials like hard wood, glass-fiber (GRP) and gas concrete stones.
